This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team focused on Health, Safety and Resilience, creating a safety-conscious culture where everyone takes responsibility for the welfare of others.
The team will help to introduce and run a health and safety management system across the Housing Management Service. It’s a varied challenge where they will be supporting the delivery of Health & Safety programmes, introducing new H&S practice and implementing assurance activities. By drawing on your credibility in HSR, you’ll help to embed a proactive health and safety culture while supporting training Council-wide. NEBOSH-qualified in Occupational Health & Safety (or with an equivalent IOSH certificate), you will bring strong technical knowledge of Construction, Construction-related Health & Safety and Housing Management. You will have a track record of auditing and inspecting, and managing the health, safety and welfare of staff and contractors.
