As a global leading manufacturer who continue to rapidly grow, they require a Safety, Health and Environmental professional who has a proactive approach and excellent team orientated attitude. You will need to be engaging and visible on site to ensure you are approachable to be able to promote a Health & Safety culture through engaging with employees and working with all levels of the business.
To be considered for the Safety, Health and Environmental Advisor opportunity, you must be qualified to NEBOSH general or equivalent NCRQ in Health and Safety with at least 2-4 years’ experience working in a demanding manufacturing environment. Experience of EX atmospheres and DSEAR methodologies is highly desired, as well as having experience of HAZOP methodology / being involved in HAZOPs.
As the Safety, Health and Environmental Advisor you will assist in administering and maintaining compliance programmes such as Occupational Health screening, LOTO, Hazard Communication, Risk Assessment, SSOW, COSHH, control of PPE,RPE, Permits to work etc. You will identify and analyse operations to determine hazards, and develop and manage systems to eliminate potential hazards.
Reporting into the Safety, Health and Environmental Lead for the UK, you will be a key member of the EHS team involved in exciting new upcoming EHS projects. This is an exciting new venture for a Safety, Health and Environmental Advisor to join a well-established leading global giant and really make their mark the role with outstanding promotional opportunities.
