Senior HSE Advisor role at a large Principal Contractor, to cover the South East, £53K + company car

Our client is a large principal contractor, operating mainly in the Residential sector. In order to expand their HSE team, they are currently recruiting for a Senior Health and Safety Advisor.
Your new role
The main purpose of the role is supporting the Group H&S Director & the Health and Safety team, to monitor and inspect the Health and Safety standards of the Group's Development sites, ensuring they are operating in full compliance with relevant legislation and the Group's policies and procedures.
On a daily basis your duties will include: to ensure compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Management systems at site level. * To carry out full health, safety, welfare, fire and environmental inspections of the Group's building sites, including site sales areas and offices within their area of responsibility, as deemed necessary, and to ensure that all required corrective action has been carried out. * To carry out regular health & safety advisory inspections of the Group's building sites, within their area of responsibility. * To ensure reports with serious environmental concerns are copied to the Sustainability Manager and Divisional reports. * To conduct inspections and produce detailed reports of each inspection in accordance with the following Group KPI's and email them to the appropriate Building Managers and Health and Safety Department without delay. * To undertake/ assist in accident/ incident investigations, in accordance with the Departments procedures, ensuring all details and photographs are emailed to the Health & Safety Systems Officer & Operational Safety Manager as soon as possible, and to complete reports as a priority.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is a construction HSE professional with NEBOSH Construction Certificate, with a track record working for large and complex residential projects.
