As a Safety Advisor, you will be required to start 2nd November, working through to the 22nd/23rd November initially. This role will be based from a major temporary London attraction.
You will be responsible for tool box talks and reporting, as well as day to day safety such as risk assessments, audits, workplace inspections, issuing permits, reports, investigating breaches, contractor management etc. The risks on site are varied, with cranes from 60-300 tonne, lifting risks, cherry pickers, forklifts, and general construction risks. A background in construction or something similar would be advantageous and you must have a NEBOSH certificate, NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent as a minimum.
Days are 10-12 hours, with overtime as necessary. Due to VERY strict deadlines on this project, you MUST be able to commit to the entirety of the project with no breaks – and be very flexible in your approach. Ideally we would like to speak to candidates who perhaps work with another, and therefore would be able to provide cover should they be off unexpectedly for any reason during the project.
In return you will receive a day rate of circa £240 plus overtime where appropriate. Ideally you will need to already be based in London or have accommodation nearby as no additional accommodation costs can be covered.
