Established in 1988, Chestnut Homes enjoys a reputation for building high quality new homes in Lincolnshire. We build a range of new homes, from houses and apartments suitable for the first time buyers, through to five bedroom executive homes. We place great emphasis on structural integrity and finishing properties to a high standard and we regularly win awards for our work.
We are looking to appoint a QSHE Manager to become part of our growing business. Working closely with external Health and Safety consultants, you will be responsible for delivering well planned work that is carried out safely.
Your new role
An important part of the role is to evaluate and analyse the health and safety performance of the company. You will be responsible for ensuring that sites are meeting health and safety standards by conducting regular site visits, whilst making sure the sites comply with the company's methods. Alongside this, your hands-on approach will allow you to develop the quality assurance within the business, and also to develop the environmental strategy.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have amassed a wealth of experience working within the construction industry, and it would be highly advantageous if you have worked within a similar role. You will have NEBOSH General and COSHH. You will want to work for a growing company where you can help to move the business forward by building on the Health and Safety standards already in place.
