Your new company
This UK house building company is looking to appoint an Operational Safety Inspector to join their growing business. You will be based out of their Leicestershire office, and be required to travel to sites across the East Midlands.
Your new role
You will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting the Health and Safety standards of the Group's construction sites across the East Midlands, and ensuring that they are complying with relevant legislation, policies and procedures. You will conduct site visits and monthly site audits and inspections, and produce detailed reports in order to provide solutions. You will also be required to assist in accident/ incident investigations, and produce reports accordingly. You will have a duty to induct and train new site management staff on all Health and Safety procedures whilst promoting a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the company.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will need NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction along with having experience in the construction industry. You will need good communication skills in order to engage with all members of staff, and and you will need to be competent when working with IT, especially on Excel.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of £30,000-£42,000 dependent on your previous experience. You will also have access to a company car or allowance, along with a company laptop and mobile phone.
