A new role to support the Head of Health and Safety to deliver the objectives in their Health and Safety Strategy and drive the continuous improvement of Health and Safety Management throughout the organisation.
You will be working as part of a small team ensuring risk assessment completion as well as providing competent health and safety advice, support and guidance to staff throughout the organisation in order to assist them in achieving compliance with their duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act and supporting regulations. You will take the lead on certain areas of Health and Safety training to staff and help develop, monitor and review health and safety and fire policies, procedures and standards to meet their objectives. You will be making recommendations for improvements, provide regular reports to senior management and work proactively with departments to develop their knowledge and understanding of health and safety management and compliance through coaching, mentoring and the identification, development and delivery of training to facilitate this.

What you will need to succeed:
You will have the Nebosh diploma or equivalent and have excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations. You will have extensive Health and Safety experience gained from working in complex organisations with many internal and external stakeholders.
