A global manufacturing business has a requirement for an Interim Facilities Manager to be based on their site in Essex. You will be required to oversee various types of infrastructure and upgrade projects on sites across the UK. You will also be required to manage and lead the team to provide necessary engineering and management skills to ensure all work is carried out safely and within agreed timescales and budgets. This will be an initial 12 month contract and will pay from £500 per day (depending on experience).

The Role:

  • Manage all site building services and utilities
  • Manage and lead the 'Hard' & 'Soft' Facilities team on a day to day basis
  • Liaise with external suppliers regarding installation, upgrading and maintenance
  • Manage all building and site functions ensuring all statutory and H&S obligations are met
  • Manage the assurance of highly hazardous and regulated activities

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience of managing Facilities teams across multiple sites
  • Previous experience of carrying out the role of Facilities Manager
  • Strong client management skills and customer focus
  • Track record of delivery of performance expectations
  • Experience of working in a Process/Manufacturing/Engineering environment
