As a HSE Advisor you will be responsible for working under a project manager and alongside engineers on a project to install a wind farm in the Baltic sea. The project will be using large vessels to dig trenches, and prepare for cabling, as well as laying cabling. The role is based onshore at the Aberdeen office. This project will be your focus 3 days per week. The other 2 days per week will be focused on a separate project again looking at cable installation from the north of Scotland to an island, utilising a cable laying vessel.
Both roles require a really good knowledge of CDM regulations and extensive and demonstrable experience of similar projects, so we are looking for Safety professionals with experience of cabling projects, civils, CDM for wind farms or a marine backgrounds – although the CDM knowledge would be preferable as this is key to the project. You must have NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent as a minimum, but more important is genuine hands on experience.
You will need to be confident, able to deliver professionally in client facing situations, have excellent document control skills and be confident chairing safety meetings on site – we aren't looking for a wallflower here!
In return you will receive a day rate of £300 per day. For more information please contact email@example.com
