Health & Safety Manager. Global environmental consultancy. National role with North West base. Up to £50k

A leading multi-disciplined environmental consultancy with a global network of offices are currently looking for an enthusiastic and team orientated Manager to join their Health & Safety team on a permanent basis due to recent expansion.
Your new role
As a HSE Manager based nationally, your main responsibility will be to assist in the provision and continued delivery of solutions to achieve assurance in the company's work, together with attainment of best practice in health and safety management. You will be working dynamically with all teams as they work on some major civils and infrastructure projects in the UK and overseas.
You will be responsible for; Working on a range of projects providing CDM advisor and principal designer support to clients and principal designers; Providing H&S advice to senior leadership teams; Provision of health and safety management systems ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 and audit support; Construction site visits to assess compliance with Construction Phase Plans and client imposed site rules, carry out due diligence regarding Health and Safety and environmental issues; contractor assessments; delivering accredited training; proposal and tender support.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience providing CDM and health & safety support within a contracting environment, a NEBOSH general certificate, CMIOSH alongside this you will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to drive a 'safety first' culture. You will be available to travel across the UK and occasionally overseas.
