An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety manager to join a well established and respected Civil Engineering principal contractor. This position will be managing 3 divisions (rail, civil engineering and airports) and responsible for a team of Advisors across South East Region.

The Role:
•Manage a team of Advisors across the South East region 
•Responsible for carrying out audit programmes, accident and incident investigations as required, 
•Take a leading role in maintaining and providing continuous improvement to SHE strategies, policies and procedures within this division, ensuring that the company's SHE culture and performance remains at the forefront of industry best practice
•To liaise with employees, subcontractors and suppliers on Health and Safety matters as required
•To identify possible operational risks or opportunities and work with central Health and Safety Team to ensure an appropriate and effective response
•To promote company values in all dealings with other employees, clients, subcontractors and other external contacts

The Candidate:
•5 years plus experience working in Health & Safety within a civil engineering environment
•NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
•CMIOSH or working towards
•Previous experience within rail would be beneficial
