Your new company
Your new company is a global leading food supplier for wholesale and fresh food and supply local supermarkets, restaurants, pubs as well as large supermarket chains. They provide a full delivery service to all their client base which runs 24 hours a day and they also provide a one stop service for all local customers looking to buy directly and in bulk purchases. They have a very strong reputation within the market and pride themselves on their service delivery and ability to provide an excellent service throughout.

Your new role
Your new role will involve supporting and overseeing all health & safety regulations, standards and processes as well as managing all risk assessments and fire assessments across approximately 11 sites from Bristol, Southampton & Bodmin. You will be regionally responsible for sites including wholesalers, cash & carries and a range of retail sites. Your tasks will include tackling health & safety issues on sites and driving positive safety culture change. You will be dealing with a range of clients and will need to adapt your communication to achieve the desired result. This role will also require the direct line management of 1 administrator who is currently studying to become qualified in health & safety.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful within this role you will need to have NEBOSH certification as well as having a proven track record of working within a health & safety background. You need to be a strong communicator and influencer within this role as this will also require delivering training and dealing with stakeholders. Experience within manufacturing, warehouse distribution and logistics or retail is highly desirable.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of up to £35,000 plus £4,000 car allowance with 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, 3% pensions contribution as minimum and ability to work 'flexi-days' after 3 month probation. Investment into training and development is also given with additional qualifications and CPD funded.
