The purpose of the Health and Safety Compliance Officer is to provide assurance, guidance and support with all matters of Health and Safety compliance, across Durham University. The post-holder will advise and support managers in relation to a range of complex and technical property related risks including (but not limited to): asbestos, legionella, control of contractors and other Estates related legislation.
There may be a requirement for the post-holder to participate in local on-call arrangements, as relevant to this role.
