Could you lead and deliver a University-wide health & safety auditing service? The University of Reading’s H&S Services team needs a skilled H&S professional with auditing experience and a constructive approach. You will systematically examine the organisation’s H&S performance and deliver both positive and challenging findings to senior staff. You will also contribute to the H&S advice, training and investigation work of the team.
You will have:
- Relevant experience and skills in H&S advice work and auditing.
- The ability to assertively, courteously and clearly communicate findings to leaders and reach agreement on improvement actions.
- The ability to plan and co-ordinate a varied and extensive programme of work – encouraging and incorporating contributions from other staff.
- A genuine commitment to occupational health & safety and to contributing to a team serving a large organisation with a varied set of hazards.
