The Head of Health and Safety is responsible for the effective and efficient management of health and safety matters with due regard to appropriate legislation, including policy development, implementation, monitoring and inspection, risk assessment, delivery of training, and promoting a positive health and safety culture.
The successful applicant will have significant previous experience ideally within a similar health and safety role and will hold a NEBOSH Diploma. They must be an effective communicator and able to influence and use their own initiative. A flexible ‘can-do’ attitude is also essential, as is the ability to provide the very best level of service to all staff, pupils and other stakeholders.
