A proven Contract Manager with strong experience of managing reactive maintenance contracts (Winchester)

Your new company

My client are a progressive business with a clear 5 year plan who intend to double in size during this time. They specialise in construction, building maintenance and refurbishment - working with many clients in both public and private sector across the South. The company have won prestigious business recently and are looking to appoint a talented Contract Manager for one of these key accounts.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Maintenance, you will be based in Winchester and cover work in the surrounding area. Direct reports include: Supervisors, Foreman, a Resource Controller and contract admin team.

Your role:

You will be leading one of the key contracts, ensuring the successful delivery of the Contract, implementing and refining ad hoc workflows and processes to achieve business objectives (financial and qualitative) and client service delivery standards.

The contract covers regular reactive and planned fabric maintenance to 900 properties covering schools, police stations, care homes, museums, offices, listed buildings and new builds. In addition, there is scope to grow the contract as part of the building fabric, mechanical and electrical project frameworks that they are part of. You will lead the Operational Team and have responsibility for the commercial performance of the contract. Building and maintaining a great client relationship and providing your customers and clients with an exceptional service will define your success.

Working hours: 40/week, Monday to Friday.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be a driven, pro-active individual with experience (and a proven record) of delivering successful reactive maintenance contracts, with exceptional service and commercial performance. You must be able to motivate those around you and be aligned with the core values of the business: culture, expertise and service.

You must hold a Degree, Diploma or HNC in a construction, business or management discipline.
