UK leading property and real estate firm are looking to appoint an assistant health and safety manager for their office in Birmingham, West Midlands. Working closely with the senior H&S manager, you will look to engage with colleagues and contractors, promoting a positive safety culture throughout.
Your new role
Working within the facilities management arm of the company you will work closely with the property management and surveying teams, making sure the safety strategy is in line with current HSE legislation, carrying out site inspections, conducting audits, providing guidance to clients and internal members and monitoring accident investigations and reports.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will ideally have previous experience working within a similar environment, either from within a facilities management firm or property management. However if you have a technical background within either engineering, construction or M&E this will also be highly regarded. NEBOSH general is essential and either have or be working towards NEBOSH Diploma.
