HSE Recruitment are exclusively working with an extremely exciting and innovative company on the recruitment of a full time, permanent, Workplace Governance Manager. The ideal candidate would live within distance of Southampton and be based from this office, but there is some flexibility for remote working for the right candidate.

The company’s main bases are the US and Australia, including manufacturing facilities, but also reaches across Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Poland, UK & I and Canada (amongst others). A major focus for the UK is the contract and existing relationship with Highways England, so it is imperative that you have extensive and demonstrable previous experience of good working relationships with Highways England. 

The current incumbent has set up good systems and policies and the company has a number of accreditations, and are looking to achieve ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 shortly. There are a number of audits also coming up in roughly 12 months’ time. 

The company is going through quite a period of change and cultural change/improvement is a huge focus for this role, across UK and cross countries. You should be dynamic, engaging, and able to implement safety whilst keeping operational staff onside. You must also be a self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision/micromanagement. 

In return you will receive a salary of circa £60k (base) salary for this with additional benefits including car allowance. Please contact for more information.
