To be considered for the Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist you must be qualified to NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar working environment. It is MUST to have understanding of the German language as you will need to read and write in German to communicate with some colleagues (although most of the business language is in English.)
You will need to have knowledge of EU and Austrian EHS laws and regulatory framework. It would be advantageous to have an understanding of manufacturing processes; Lean/Six Sigma etc.
Reporting to the Associate Environmental, Health and Safety Director you will be responsible for specific environmental, health and safety programs and compliance for the manufacturing site, providing technical support and coordination in defining and implementing site EHS systems.
You will proactively identify improvement opportunities and effectively collaborate across the organisation to leverage best practices and drive continuous improvement efforts. Ensuring ongoing evaluation of changes in Safety Regulatory requirements.
