The role

As Safety and Supervisory Trainer, reporting to the Senior Instructor/Principal Lecturer, your main duties will be:

 

•To deliver an annual programme of courses and events to meet agreed targets.

•To provide an advisory service for the analysis, design and development of training solutions to meet client needs.

•To bespoke training programmes to meet specific client needs.

•To develop and pilot new products and services in response to perceived local/national needs and/or opportunities.

•To provide information, advice and guidance where appropriate.

 

About you

Applicants must possess excellent presentation and interpersonal skills combined with a good working knowledge of the Construction Industry at Supervisor/Manager level. Good organisational skills are required within the role, along with a high degree of self-motivation, demonstrating the ability to work from their own initiative as well as part of a team. A genuine commitment to high levels of customer service is essential. Applicants should hold a minimum Level 3 teaching qualification, e.g. PTTLS or equivalent and a NEBOSH Construction Certificate or higher; however, we would be willing to train to this level.

 

This is a mobile role and will require extensive travel and some nights away.
