Regional HSE Officer role at a multinational Contractor, salary on £25/30K. East Anglia region.

Our client is a large multinational Contractor, working mainly in the Utilities sector. In order to expand their team in the UK, they are currently recruiting for a Regional Health & safety Officer.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, on daily basis your duties will predominantly include site inspections and Health and Safety audits in the East Anglia region.
You will also issue formal reports, recommending corrective action. Actively promote improvements in attitudes towards SHEQ ensuring the provision of a SHEQ induction service for personnel at all levels, in accident prevention techniques and hazard awareness. Ensuring project teams follow the requirements of company's procedures for delivering construction projects safely and therefore meeting the requirements of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and related procedures. Carrying out full investigations into all accidents/incidents, fires and dangerous occurrences, and issuing reports detailing causes and recommended action.
You will be based in their office in Ipswich, with flexible working arrangements as well.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is professional with experience in Health and Safety (ideally Construction), NEBOSH qualified and willing to travel throughout the East Anglia region.
Entry level Health and Safety candidates will be also considered for the role.
