Regional HSE Manager for a large Construction contractor based in South Wales. Salary on £50K

Our client is a large Construction Contractor based in South Wales. In order to expand their HSE team they are currently recruiting for a Regional Health and Safety Manager.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have the responsibility for health and safety on a number of construction sites throughout the South Wales region.
On a daily basis your duties will include: to ensure compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Management systems at site level. * To carry out full health, safety, welfare, fire and environmental inspections of the Group's building sites, including site sales areas and offices within their area of responsibility, as deemed necessary, and to ensure that all required corrective action has been carried out. * To carry out regular health & safety advisory inspections of the Group's building sites, within their area of responsibility. * To ensure reports with serious environmental concerns are copied to the Sustainability Manager and Divisional reports. * To conduct inspections and produce detailed reports of each inspection in accordance with the following Group KPI's and email them to the appropriate Building Managers and Health and Safety Department without delay. * To undertake/ assist in accident/ incident investigations, in accordance with the Departments procedures, ensuring all details and photographs are emailed to the Health & Safety Systems Officer & Operational Safety Manager as soon as possible, and to complete reports as a priority.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in Construction Health and Safety, ideally NEBOSH Diploma and Grad IOSH membership.
