Regional EHS manager for Aero manufacturing organisation. Covering 6 sites. Unionised environment. £55K + Car

My client is a manufacturing organisation that supply into the aerospace sector. The company have a global presence including a number of sites across the UK. In recent months, despite so much uncertainty in the UK the organisation have gone on to win further contracts including a new 6 year contract supplying into Airbus which was awarded in November 2018. The company continues to grow and have a very strong presence in their sector.
Your new role
In you new role you will be predominantly based in the Wrexham site an will form part of the senior management team. You will play a heavy part in looking after Wrexham site but will also have responsibility for the other sites across the UK so travel will be involved. You will required to further develop and continually progress EHS in all UK sites along with the management teams from these sites. You will have experience in implementing and maintaining the EHS management systems. You will also have experience with and have confidence in developing and delivering policies, procedures and training material. The role is working within unionised and you will need the confidence and experience of these environments previously.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have good experience within health & safety with around 5 years experience in managing multi-site. You will also have experience in managing in a unionised environment. You should be familiar with ISO management systems and have experience with dealing with external bodies such as HSE. Aerospace manufacturing would be a massive bonus but any form of manufacturing backgrounds would be considered.
What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a salary of up to £55K along with a car/allowance. You will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus program, generous holiday entitlement and company pension scheme. You will be working full time hours with an early finish on Fridays
