An interim Health and Safety Manager job has arisen to work with a manufacturing company in South Wales for three months. Working alongside a Health and Safety Manager, you will be providing support in all health, safety & environmental matters to ensure compliance with statutory obligations. You will be conducting site inspections/audits, delivering training, ensuring policies and procedures are embedded in their operations and that the expected company standards are maintained (e.g. OHSAS 18001, ISO14001). You will be responsible for risk assessments and will be providing advice and guidance as well promoting HSE practices throughout the company. In addition, you will support accident/near miss investigations and analyse trends, providing recommended actions.
You will have extensive Health and Safety experience gained from working in the manufacturing sector and be able to demonstrate previous experience of promoting safety culture. You will hold the NEBOSH diploma or equivalent and have excellent Health and Safety legislation knowledge.
