Interim Health and Safety Manager required for a NHS client to support a busy Health and Safety function.
You will champion and promote a positive health and safety culture across the Trust and provide comprehensive support and technical advice on various health and safety matters. Your role will involve regular operational visits to departments across all estates and facilities, directly engaging managers and staff, one to one coaching, training, auditing, inspections and incident investigations. You will be ensuring best practice is being followed, policies/procedures are implemented and strategies are working well.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a professional health and safety role with a sound knowledge of health and safety principles, legislation and best practice, and ideally a good knowledge of NHS governance. You will also have excellent team and communication skills to enable you to influence practice that will enhance the health and safety for the organisation. You will have the NEBOSH Certificate as well as extensive Health and Safety experience.
