The successful candidate
Solid experience in managing HSQE whist working with a principle contractor is key or working with significant maintenance contracts.
This is the ideal position for somebody who has a strong background in developing and maintaining management systems, promoting a positive health and safety culture, mentoring site management teams, managing sub contracts, fire risk assessments, developing training and investigating all HSEQ events as required.
Previous experience in demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development is desired. You will need to show commitment, enthusiasm, drive and self-confidence which motivates and inspires others.
Knowledge and experience of developing and maintaining ISO 9001 and 14001 management systems is essential.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NCRQ or equivalent. NEBOSH Fire is desired and you will ideally be a lead auditor for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Minimum of TECH IOSH status is required.
A UK driving licence is essential and the ability to be flexible and travel to various locations throughout the UK is key.
