The successful candidate
Previous HSEQ experience with the rail sector or similar is essential. This is the ideal position for somebody who is searching for a site based position managing HSEQ.
A solid background in accident and incident investigation and report writing within a health and safety officers or advisors role providing day to day health and safety support is required along with hands on experience of risk assessments.
You will have the ability to work on your own Initiative and as part of a team. You will have fantastic communications skills and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels with strong engaging and influencing skills.
You will be able to work well under pressure and respond to changing demands and you will have experience dealing with both internal and external customers.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Construction Certificate, NCRQ or equivalent and you will ideally have previous experience in the rail sector.
A UK driving licence is essential and the ability to be flexible and travel to various locations throughout the UK and is key.
