HSE Risk Management & Control Coordinator
Brand new exciting opportunity, due to significant growth of the Health, Safety and Environment department, a superb opportunity has arisen to join a leading UK organisation as a Health, Safety & Environmental, Risk Management & Control Coordinator on a permanent basis.
This is a newly created position within the team to help achieve the company’s overall goal as an industry leading safety and environmental performance company. A busy and varied position the purpose of the role will be to Risk assess the working environment across all areas of the business. You’ll be co-ordinating the Health, Safety & Environmental workplace risk assessments, supporting the Risk assessors and ensuring a safe working environment for all UK Manufacturing.
To be considered for the position of Health, Safety & Environmental Risk Management & Control Coordinator you must have; Background in Health, Safety and Environment in a manufacturing environment. You will hold NEBOSH (Certificate level) in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent with a broad understanding of HSE Legislation. Ideally you will have an understanding of building regulations and standards. Experience of HS&E within automotive manufacturing would be advantageous, but not essential.
As the Health, Safety & Environmental, Risk Management & Control Coordinator you will coordinate and implement site wide HSE workplace risk assessments. Providing guidance and advice on Health, Safety and Environmental matters to all departments (provide technical advice to relevant working groups).
Support existing HSE Risk Assessors to complete regular and irregular task risk assessments. You will provide support to the wider HSE departments, responsibilities including delivery of inspections, safety assurance visits and internal/external HSE audits. Ensure standardisation of best practice across the whole site.
