Excellent opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join a forward thinking manufacturing and installation organisation in their state of the art facilities in East Yorkshire. As the Health, Safety and Environment Manager you will ensure that corporate Health, Safety and Environmental management complies with current legislative requirements on all sites, be those sites of permanent manufacturing and offices or project installation sites. To create, maintain and improve health, safety and environmental standards throughout the company. 

You will be qualified to NEBOSH Diploma with a background in both Manufacturing and Construction. Ideally you will hold the NEBOSH Construction and it is advantageous to hold the NEBOSH Fire Safety Management Certificate. You must have experience in ISO 14001: 2015 with knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO9001:2015. You must be CSCS registered a current member of IOSH.

As the Health, Safety and Environment Manager you will ensure investigations of accidents, incidents and near misses are conducted and advise on corrective actions. Implement all relevant new Health, Safety and Environment legislation and communicate same throughout the company to employees.

You will produce monthly reports on all HSE issues for the Executive Committee. Whilst producing quarterly reporting for the Group and contribute to the Group HSE peer group. You will contribute as part of the senior management team to ensure legal compliance and best practice.

Audit all method statements & RAMS during site audits. Responsible person as defined by the COSHH regulations 2002. Liaise with HR to ensure appropriate HSE training for employees and compilation of the CITB training plan. Carry out fire risk assessments and maintain the emergency plan for the manufacturing facility. Approval and review of all subcontractors and suppliers on the Company supplier management system.
