A global supplier of automotive components supplying a range of OEM's. The company occupy a purpose built facility in the south of Liverpool and supply their customer close-by. The organisation have gone from strength to strength over recent years and forecast this to continue. The organisation operates on a JIT basis,
Your new role
As HSE coordinator you will be leading the H&S function on site with the support from the wider management team. You will be visible on the shop floor, integrating with the team. You will contribute towards the longer term strategy for the H&S department. Your role could include lots of elements including RS's, MS's, audits, inspections, toolbox talks, attending management meetings, analysing data and implementing any corrective actions. You will be working with a continual improvement mindset.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be experienced within a manufacturing environment. Automotive manufacturing would be beneficial but not essential. The client would like someone who understands and has worked to LEAN manufacturing principles such as Kaizen and 5S. The appointed person should be qualified to NEBOSH general or equivalent.
