Your new company
This global leader in manufacturing provide products across the food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, recycling and chemical industries to name just a few. Their site based in West London is just one which supplies to over 100 countries worldwide. They have a very dedicated team and are now looking to recruit a new Health, Safety & Facilities Officer due to a retirement.

Your new role
Your new position as Health, Safety & Facilities Officer will include monitoring and revising the current health & safety policies and ensuring the security of the sites remains consistent. On a day to day basis you will expected to produce and action any necessary risk assessments, implement and control all health & safety procedures, organise and control the health & safety of all internal and external maintenance and repair programmes and ensure monitoring and accident review is completed. Your remit will include PUWER, COSHH, Fire, Manual handling, noise, waste control and PPE. You will be working closely with senior management to action any health & safety amendments and action anything under building law/legislation. On the facilities side you will be organising all necessary premises maintenance works and advising of any potential building work requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will need a good foundation of skills in both health & safety and facilities. You need to be experienced in managing ISO9001 and ISO14001 audits as well as up to date on all current HSE legislation. You will need practical H&S experience of completing risk assessments but also need to be able to manage building renovation and the maintenance of a business. The successful candidate will ideally have experience within the Manufacturing industry and will hold at least the NEBOSH General Certificate.

What you'll get in return
