Experience of working in a fast-paced team is essential for this role and a flexible and innovative mind-set would be advantageous to join this vibrant team.
Ideally you will possess the Nebosh General, NCRQ Level 6 Certificate or as a minimum my client may consider candidates with IOSH Managing Safely. Degree educated within a Safety or Environmental discipline would be considered too. Knowledge of ISO14001is the ideal or a willingness to learn.
Previous hands on experience, within a facilities, corporate or property environment would be beneficial and you must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Based in London this is a multi-site role with advance planned visits.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and energetic individual who is keen to make this role their own. My client would be willing to train and develop the right person if you can show that you are innovative and keen to learn. You may be working within Health and Safety currently or within Facilities Management and looking to move to a Health and Safety position.
This role will require you to work closely with the HR & Facilities Team, responsibilities across:
Contractor management, reviewing RAMS, issuing permits to work
Monitor and responding to HSE enquiries
Managing HSE documentation
Communicating changes to HSE Policies & procedures
Return to work & DSE Assessments
Monthly HSE Reporting
Assisting with development of mental health/wellbeing events & initiatives
