Are you an experienced HSE Officer looking for your next opportunity in the South West? Our client is a prominent employer in the Plymouth area and this is a key role, vital to the efficient service and operation they offer.
As HSE Officer you are in the front line and will be busy with various tasks including audits and inspections, review of SSOW, reviewing HSE procedures, emergency planning and updating documentation as well as delivering training to internal and external staff.
This position is not for the feint hearted, you will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces. The ability to prioritise, work to deadline and communicate clearly as well as having up to date knowledge of HSE regulations. These are fundamental factors to the success of this role and has direct impact to the service and local community, business and leisure industries.
As a skilled HSE professional it is expected that you will have a Nebosh Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent. TECH IOSH status and it would be advantageous to have First Aid and Training qualifications.
