Lancashire Constabulary’s Human Resources Department is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to be based at Hutton Headquarters.
The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free unlimited car parking on site.
The purpose of this role is to support the Senior Employee Relations Manager to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and maintaining a safety culture in relation to operational policing and other Constabulary business as required, in order to minimise the risk of accidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences and the risk of prosecution and litigation.
You will be working as a team of three Health and Safety Officers providing a service across the Constabulary and your specific individual portfolio will oversee health and safety advice and support in relation to Facilities, Estates and Fleet.
All successful applicants will be subject to Vetting clearance.
