Health and Safety Manager at a global logistics organisation, travel required, £38K + car allowance

Our client is a global leader in the logistics sector, with thousands of employees all over the UK. In order to expand their HSE team, they are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Regional Group Safety Manager, you will support the development of a strategy to shape the SHEQ function within the contract. Working closely with the respective management teams and client's on-site SHEQ Champions to deliver this strategy and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
On a daily basis you will coach and guide local management teams on all aspects of SHEQ being accountable for performance across the contract; provide expert professional support to line management at all levels, ensuring the Best Practice in health and safety is adopted and regularly reviewed; carry out statistical analysis and trending to identify issues of concern; carry out corporate SHEQ audits at sites outside of their geographic area.
You will be responsible for a number of sites from West to East London.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in Health & Safety, ideally within Logistics and Transportation sectors, NEBOSH General Certificate or above. You will also have excellent communication skills, flexibility to travel and passion for Health and Safety.
