The Health and Safety Manager will undertake a key role within the College Management Team by ensuring that the college properly discharges all its legal obligations and related duties under current Health and Safety legislation. The post-holder will develop and maintain a continuous improvement ethos in the approach to health and safety issues across all the college campuses.
The successful candidate will possess chartered membership of IOSH, NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and/or degree in relevant subject. Strong communication and good influencing skills with the ability to deliver high quality presentations will be required. Experience in undertaking complex and sensitive investigations will be a prerequisite as are financial and budgetary management skills.
