Health and Safety Manager required for waste management and recycling specialist

Chambers Waste Management is a versatile, family run business looking for someone to join their business as Health & Safety (H&S) Manager. This is a critical role in the business and you will have direct access to the business owners, who see H&S forming a key part of the businesses growth strategy.
Your new role
The main purpose of the role is to reduce the risk of injury to all employees. This is a practical role which will require the checking and compliance of all H&S related issues based at their Sites in Aldershot, Guildford and Runfold. These sites include Recycling Plants, Quarries, large Office space and a Crushing Plant. You will liaise with the company Compliance Officer, so an understanding of ISO Compliance (90001, 180001, 140001) would be an advantage. Further duties include (but are not limited to):
- Site Inspections (site opens at 0400hrs)
- Vehicle CCTV Monitoring
- KPI Monthly Report
- Toolbox Talks
- Risk Assessment/SSOW review, update and generated (as required)
- Regular site safety audit's covering 4 sites
- H&S 'mini-meets'
- Weekly Fire checks at North Moors
- Accident/Safety Concern monitoring/investigations
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have minimum NEBOSH General Certificate, (preferably NEBOSH Diploma level) and be a Member of IOSH.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary ranging from £40 - 50,000 per annum plus excellent benefits including a company car, Private Health Care, Life Cover and Pension.
