Health and Safety Manager at English Heritage (West Territory including Stonehenge)

Are you looking to start the new-year in a new job? If so, we are recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager in the West (Cornwall to Cheshire). The preference is for the position to be based in Bristol, Birmingham or Swindon but home working and other locations will also be considered.

Working with our stunning historic properties, including Stonehenge; Tintagel Castle and Kenilworth Castle, makes for a varied and unique place to come to work, with some of the best views in the country!  No two days are the same and managing safety and risk in this unique and precious environment has its own set of challenges.  Communication, influencing and collaboration are essential skills to embedding a culture of incident prevention and shared responsibility. Working within the Safety and Risk Team, that includes a National Security Adviser and National Fire Safety Manager, we are looking for someone who will be a single point of leadership and advice within the territory, primarily for health and safety but also for fire safety, security and emergency planning.

You will have a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and be a Graduate or Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (or equivalent) with demonstrable evidence of CPD.

Salary from £40,000 p.a. dependant on skills and experience.

Interviews will take place in Bristol on December 13.
