This Waste Management company provides waste collection, management and recycling service to the South of England for many of its trade customers, construction companies and householders. As well as being known for providing professional resources they also pride themselves on high recycling rates and have a high commitment to helping the environment.
Your new role
They are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to take on the responsibility of their 4 sites across Surrey.This role will be working closely with the Managing Director who has great health & safety buy-in. This role will be both operational and strategic with it being a stand-alone position. Your new role will involve you being out and about on site rather than sitting in the office completing risk assessments and doing site inspections.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will need experience within the waste management industry as well as holding at minimum the NEBOSH General Certificate however a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent would be highly desirable.
What you'll get in return
In return you will get a highly flexible working environment where both daily timings and days worked per week can be balanced by the employee. You will have full use of pool cars which are used to get to and from the different sites during working hours. On top of a competitive salary of £45,000 you will also receive 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) and other standard benefits.
