An innovative manufacturing firm who supply to major retail outlets are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Manager to be based in Leicestershire. You will look to deliver continuous improvement, always working towards best practice, within this established team orientated environment.
Your new role
As Health & Safety Manager you will be responsible for ensuring HSE standards are maintained and that management systems are in line with current HSE legislation. You will carry out technical internal and external audits, risk assessments, accident investigations and liaise with senior management team and subcontractors to ensure a positive safety culture throughout.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will hold NEBOSH general as a minimum, with previous experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment. It would be highly advantageous if you have retail audit compliance experience, however this is not essential. You will have a good understanding of management systems and thorough knowledge of HSE legislation.
What you'll get in return
Working within a high-risk, fast pace environment, in a team orientated department. You will receive a great salary £35,000-£45,000 dependant on experience.
