Current new build projects span Hertfordshire, Surrey & Essex with the essential requirement to ensure foundations for safety are firmly embedded. Initially you will be home-based but the longer term plan will be for a Southern Regional office for this rapidly expanding company.
You will need to be a resilient and innovative health and safety professional, not afraid of bringing new ideas to improve site safety culture. This company want to use your passion to make a difference and your experience in changing and setting positive safety culture.
You must hold your NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NCRQ equivalent and have achieved a minimum Tech IOSH status already, preferably working towards Grad.
Additionally you must demonstrate a construction build background of more than 5 years’ experience and knowledge of pre-construction phase the ideal.
You must be able to demonstrate on your CV what you have done to make a difference in your previous construction roles. A strong set of achievements is essential in driving continuous improvement as well as experience of coaching and engaging teams.
This role is all about setting new standards and to achieve this you must have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the business and the strength of character to be consistent in the positive message.
