Health & Safety Advisor role within a housing association based in London with flexible working and extremely generous annual leave
Your new company
A small community based housing association based in London who pride themselves on adding valuing to the communities they support. They manage thousands of properties including commercial and residential properties. They are looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to take on a leading role in developing health & safety policies as both the social housing landlord and as an employer.
Your new role
Your new role will be aimed at providing expert advice, knowledge and support whilst ensuring that health & safety legislation is being adhered to. You will be tasked with monitoring compliance and recommended improvements in order to minimise risk. Daily tasks will include operational duties such as maintaining COSHH assessment register, producing reports for senior managers, liaising with external professionals, delivering training, risk assessment and risk management and supporting the promotion of Health & Safety culture.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will need to hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent with at least Grad Membership to IOSH. You will need to have practical experience within Health & Safety and have a genuine passion to drive forward health & safety for the association. You will need to have great knowledge of current and emerging legislation within housing and be able to prove a track record in turning policy into practice. Good knowledge of construction design will also be ideal.
