YOUR NEW ROLE
Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager you will be responsible for providing health and safety advice to managers and staff; undertaking risk assessments to ensure that business risks are met; carrying out audits of buildings, contractors and the Firms health and safety management system; developing, planning and presenting health and safety training and information for internal courses and meetings to meet business and team needs; undertaking health and safety related projects; monitoring changes in Health and Safety Law and ensuring that changes are reported to the Health and Safety Manager and acted upon to ensure continued compliance; providing professional guidance to ensure the safety of Business Services projects which may have a direct impact on cost/budget; ensuring that recording and statistical information is kept on accidents reported and building audits and provide health and safety guidance and support on CDM projects.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
You will hold a NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum and have ideally experience working as a safety practitioner within a corporate environment. You are a self-motivated individual, with great work ethic and willingness to progress on your career.
WHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURN
