Permanent Head of HSEQ Risk and Compliance required for a leading Construction Group | Derbyshire

A successful and growing construction group based in Derbyshire are currently looking to appoint a Head of HSEQ Risk and Compliance to oversee the Groups business systems, assess business risks and devise strategies to ensure compliance. This newly created role is an excellent opportunity for a health & safety professional with a strategic approach to take the next step in their career.
Your new role
This is a senior compliance and risk role with an emphasis on Health Safety & Environment but also recognising the interfaces with business functions such as HR and IT. You will provide a central support service responsible for high quality consistent monitoring and auditing of all areas of the business, assessing risks and reporting to the Company Directors. Additional responsibilities include; Client liaison, providing advice and support to 6 advisors and ensuring the Groups business systems are fit for purpose.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience creating and delivering effective health & safety strategies and mitigating risk successfully. Ideally you will demonstrate a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior compliance role with experience of risk management. You will hold a NEBOSH general or construction certificate and hold memberships with both IOSH and IEMA. Lead auditor desired.
