A food manufacturer based on the Chester/North Wales border are looking for a permanent H&S coordinator

A food manufacturer who supply all of the major supermarkets with own brand products. The organisation are seeing massive growth and have orders stronger than ever before. The organisation have been manufacturing from this site for many years.
Your new role
As H&S coordinator you will be the main point of contact within the organisation for anything H&S related. In addition tot he day to day management of H&S including RAMS, incident investigations, toolbox talks, audits, etc. you will take ownership of a long term plan for H&S and will implement this with the support from the technical manager. You will be a visible point of contact on the shop floor and someone who can help to form a safety first culture.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be qualified to NEBOSH or equivalent, someone who is competent within H&S and understands the legal requirements of an organisation. You will ideally come from a food manufacturing background, however, other manufacturing industry candidates will also be considered. You could already be someone who take a lead part in executing a H&S plan or someone who is looking to take that next step into a role with more responsibility. Due to the need to amount of integration with shop floor you will also need to be a warm, personable character.
