Largest UK based document management company are looking for H&S advisor to join on a permanent basis
Your new company
Your new company are the largest document management company that is UK owned. They have over 4000 clients and 100 offices/bases across the UK. The organisation is working with me on an exclusive basis. The organisation is accredited to ISO standards and hold a good reputation both internally and externally. The company is part of a larger group and the role will have support from the Group Manager.
Your new role
As H&S advisor you will be primarily based out of their base in Manchester (M27) but with some travel between sites. You will be responsible for encouraging and continually improving the safety culture and processes within the organisation. Day to Day activity will be varied but will include staff and contractor safety inductions, internal training, risk assessments and method statements, SSOW, audits and implementation of any actions as a result of the audits in order to maintain ISO accreditation.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful with this role we require someone who is happy with occasional travel to other sites. Someone who can really take a lead on all matters H&S, someone who is influential and confident.
You will need to have at least NEBOSH General (or equivalent) but preferably Diploma level and will need to be able to display confidence in understanding HSE requirements and legislation. You will need to be experience as a generalist within H&S and will ideally come from an organisation such as manufacturing where they operate to Lean principles. You will need to have worked in an organisation that is accredited to ISO standards and have experience in maintaining these.
