Exciting brand new opportunity for a Group Senior Risk Advisor to join a rapidly expanding group within the FMCG food sector. This is a unique autonomous role offering exceptional scope and great career prospects for the right health, safety, environment and risk professional.

To be considered for the Group Senior Risk Advisor opportunity you must be qualified to degree level or equivalent within Engineering/Science or Risk. You will be a Chartered member of The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) and hold the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. You must also be a member of IIRSM and have knowledge of health and safety and risk management across multiple sites. Experience within FMCG or a manufacturing environment is essential.

As the Group Senior Risk Advisor you will provide robust risk management to all the companies within the group. You will implement successful risk management policies and monitor in particular, health and safety practice across the group.

You will lead a key project, to plan and deliver a rolling three year health, safety and risk management strategy plan across all business units, working closely with the operations and in particular the senior leadership team and department managers to implement systems of best practice.

Promoting a positive health and safety culture while clearly communicating to all members of staff, you will implement a standardised approach to day-to-day health and safety and highlight areas of inconsistency. You will set realistic short term and long term objectives for health and safety and regulatory performance across the business.

Supporting operational managers in delivering on their risk responsibilities, whilst maintaining a robust system for reporting and investigating accidents and incidents as well as near misses, liaising with the health and safety officers to ensure this is implemented.
