Salary in the range of £43,266 – £50,130 per annum

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a health & safety professional to play a lead role to ensure that the University Group continues to be compliant in all aspects of health and safety and a ‘safety first’ culture is embedded.
Reporting to the Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Resources) you will provide general health and safety advice, training, support and monitoring across a wide range of risk areas. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining health and safety standards, policies, procedures and practices.
The role will also involve performing health and safety audits, inspections and investigations, advising on risk assessments and undertake specific health and safety projects.
The successful candidate will be an experienced health & safety professional with experience in a similar role in a complex multi site environment, possessing a degree level qualification and/or a NEBOSH diploma and hold membership of IOSH.
