A fast paced manufacturer on the edge of Manchester are looking for a permanent EHS officer.
Your new company
A manufacturer of well known household brands based on the outskirts of Manchester. The organisation have been in continual growth since 2015 and continue to grow. The organisation has a great feel to it and are continually looking at ways to better service their customers and better support their workforce.
Your new role
You will be part of a team of three and will be partly responsible for a number of EHS activities. You will help to form the culture of the organisation. You will be supporting and guiding a varied workforce of all levels. You will be required to carry out audits and inspections, produce risk assessments and method statements, support with compliance and ensure retention of various accreditation's. You will also occasionally need to liaise with external bodies.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have experience within a COMAH site but this is not essential. You will as a minimum need to be experienced within manufacturing environments. You will hold a minimum of NEBOSH General or equivalent. In terms of softer skills you will need to be very personable, confident and eager to continually progress.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to around £35K along with a host of benefits including free products, occupational health, pension with employer contribution of up to 8%, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday allowance, life assurance, free parking and a discretionary company bonus paid twice annually.
