This role is within one of their smaller sites with around 50 employees. This company strives to operate a zero harm policy and this is the number one priority within the business. You will have the support from all levels of employee.
Your new role
As EHS Manager you will be able to offer the balance between strategic and operational duties. You will be the sole person on site managing EHS reporting directly into the plant manager but with a dotted line into the European EHS Director. Your role will be varied but will include risk assessment, method statements, permit to work management, working at heights regulations, confined space regulations & incident investigations. You will be responsible for driving an inclusive culture. You will also need to have a good understanding of data interpretation and identifying any risk patterns and implementing corrective processes and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be degree qualified and hold a diploma level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety. You would be well experienced within manufacturing environments, ideally food. You will have the drive and energy to create and maintain a zero harm culture.
